Brief Introduce
:
TH2828/TH2828A is a new generation impedance test instrument with the most
advanced technique of auto balancing bridge in the world. It fulfills all
themeasurement needs for components and materials with its high basic accuracy
(0.05%/0.1%), wide frequency range (from 20 Hz to 1 MHz) and impedance
range (up to 100 MΩ). The instrument is especially suitable for low dissipation
factor (D) capacitor and high quality factor (Q) inductor measurement.
The high power measurement conditions of up to 20 V test signal level and
40 A DC bias current and list sweep function make it easy to extend user
is capability ofcomponent evaluation. Four-terminal pair terminal configuration
which eliminates the electromagnetic coupling of test leads, extends the
low impedance measurement range ten times down of the normal five-terminal
configuration instrument. TH2828/TH2828A is a powerful tool for component
design, component inspection, quality control and measurement on production
line. It is also a powerful tool for design and research of circuit and
materials (electronic material and non-electronic material). With its excellent
performance, TH2828/TH2828A is in conformity withcommercial and military
standards, for example IEC and MIL standards.

With its wide test frequency (20Hz-1MHz)and excellent performance, TH2828/TH2828A can accurately analyze the characteristics of inductor and magnetic materials.
By using the optional TH103011(100mA DC bias source), TH2828 / TH2828A can accurately analyze high frequency inductor, communication transformet and filter unde low DC bias current.By suing TH1775 DC Bias Current Source. THE2828 / TH2828A cn analyze high power and current inductior unde a DC bias current up to 40A.
Accurate Measurement for Ceramic Capacitor
:
Ceramic material and capacitor are mainly measured under 1 kHz and 1 MHz.Most
ceramic capaciltors are of low dissipation factors. The C and D parameters
of a ceramic capacitor vary obviously with the test signal level.
With its wide test frequency, high accuracy, 6-digit resolution and automatic
level control function(ALC), TH2828/TH2828A can measure the ceramic capacitor
and material accurately and rellably.
Capacitance Characteristic Measurement for LCD Unit
:
Capacitance-Voltage(C-Vac)characteristic is the main charactiristic used to evaluate a LCD meaterial. For C-Vac measurement,general instrument has a weakness,whose maximum test voltage level is not high enough.
TH2828/th2828a with the Optional TH10301 can provide a programmable test
signal voltage up to 20 Vrms with 1% resolution. So TH2828/TH2828A can
measure the C-Vac characteristic of a LCD material unde the most suitable
condition you need.
Measurement for Semiconductor Material and Component
:
Oxide-layer capacltance(Cox)and semiconductor impurity density are the
main characteristics to evaluate a MOSFET.All of these parameters can be
calculated from the measurement result of C-Vdc.
With its wide test frequency(20 Hz to 1 MHz)and internal ±4040V programmable DC Bias Source, TH2828/TH2828A can measure the C-Vdc easlly.
The extended cable and probe are needed for measuring semiconductor component on siticon-water.The optional 2m/4m extended cable can efficiently reduce the error due to cable extension. THE2828/TH2828A can also measure the parasitic parameters of diodes and transistors.

:
TH2828/TH2828A build-in non-volatile memory cna save 20 control setting
files. The USB disk (TH2828 only) makes it pollible that the setting files
can be shared by more intruments. Doing so will greatly reduce operation
error and enhance ificiency.
Flexible Data Communication modes
:
TH2828/th2828a GPIB interface (optional for THE2828A) makes it possible
to bluild an automatic component test system and communicate with each
other. On the other hand the low cost RS232 interface makes it easy to
communicate with a computer.
